My work
Fractured Horizon
Get ready for an adrenaline-fueled adventure in Fractured Horizon! Master gravity-defying parkour and harness the power of Gravity Fields to mend a shattered world. Race against time, challenge your skills and unveil ancient secrets as you leap, run, and solve puzzles in this breathtaking first-person platformer. Are you up for the challenge? Dive into the fractured world and rewrite its destiny!
During this project, we started from scratch and brainstormed together as a team to create an idea and build it up from the ground. As the Game designer of the team, I was tasked with creating and testing out all the options of the movement and creating an intriguing level. I iterated endlessly and kept testing with real players to perfect the smoothness of this game. For us it was important to create a finished feel and it needed to be an enjoyable experience that people could speedrun.

Moles in the rough
Are you ready to embark on a thrilling journey to the core of the planet? In Moles in the Rough, you and your team will operate a mining drill in search of rare and valuable gems. The goal? To reach the bottom of the planet's core and strike it rich with as many gems as you can carry!
But it won't be easy. The drill needs gems to keep operating, and you'll need to give up some of your precious minerals to make sure it keeps going and gets repaired. You'll have to work together, complete tasks, and make quick choices in a small space while managing resources carefully to ensure you get down safe and alive.
And watch out - the boss is looking to cut costs by firing the miners with the least amount of gems at the end. But don't worry, with your skills and strategy, you can make sure you get the gems you need to keep your job and make it back safely to the surface. With exciting challenges and the thrill of discovery, Moles in the Rough is the mining adventure you've been waiting for!

Agrotopia
For Agrotopia I created together with a small team 3 different arcade games that had to teach the general public about the reusability of manure. This was my bachelor project for Devine (Digital design and development). These 3 arcade games were presented in the exhibition Agrotopia in 2021.
For this, we created 3 installations that each resemble kid games of our youth or arcade games.
The first one is Wack-a-Kak a variant of wack-a-mole where the player had to race the opponent in collecting as much manure and converting it into bricks for their wall. The player in the end with the most bricks won.
The second one was Pooprace, a take on horse races from the fair. You have to race 3 other people to get as much manure to convert it into fuel.
The third one was Shitwassen, a take on Tug of war. 2 people had to race each other to turn the laundry machine as quickly as possible. By turning the laundry machine they turned manure into fabric.

I created the level with an asset pack for unreal to give us the quick environment for a 3 day on location game jam.

Crossy Road Remake
This a crossy road remake we had to make on a exisiting c++ framework given by school.
Zombie AI with GOAP
We had the interesting task of choosing a research topic for a course in DAE. We had to do a AI related topic. I chose GOAP or Goal Oriented Action Planning. This is an implementation of Jeff Orkin AI architecture. He used it for F.E.A.R.
My implementation is on a 2D zombie survival game written by the DAE teachers. The project itself is written in c++.

Sci-fi Corridor
This is a Sci-Fi corridor for a school assignment for DAE. We had to create a corridor and a big room showcasing modular workflow in Unreal 5.
For this project I used Maya.
